Head 2 Toe's Story
Four years ago I began praying about starting my own company to help children with special needs. On Thanksgiving Day 2007, I decided to take a step of faith and create Head 2 Toe Publications™, Inc. Then I called my good friend and former colleague, Amy Mace, and asked if
she would join H2T as the VP of Product Development because she is so creative and LOVES making products for children of all ages, and I love thinking of how to make her ideas help children become successful and reach their full potential. I believe we are the PERFECT team.
Amy and I are both speech-language pathologists who are passionate about treating the "whole" child and making sure we create products which start at the child's appropriate development level and increase the skills as they achieve their goals. Children cannot run before they learn how to walk and they cannot talk before they learn how to make sounds.
On April 28 H2T was awarded a Yahoo!® small business grant called Seeds for Success. We believe that this is God's affirmation to my years of prayers.
